Why this is the wrong question

Lately I’ve been encountering some people who are asking the wrong question.

The scenario is quite predictable although the details vary slightly.

They share about the prison they find themselves in.

They share about the desperate need for change.

Then we get to a deep place of decision.

The choice
is completely obvious to them.

But then they latch on to a toxic question.

What will it cost me?

What will it cost you?

For what:

  • Your freedom?
  • Your life?
  • Your potential?
  • Your peace?
  • Your sanity?
  • Your destiny?

When you ask the wrong question you get the wrong answer.

You should not ask, what will it cost you to act?

You should ask what will it cost you NOT to act?

That is the correct question.

The one that ignites your soul.

Thanks Neighbor. Now it’s time to make the choice, right?
    Hope you are well.
