Most of my coaching clients want to leave a mark on their world.
Anthropologists term this need as a desire for “significance.” In fact, such experts identify three universal needs planted within us all. The need for: significance, transcendence, and community.
So how do we make our lives significant? Here are 3 keys:
- Take action. Comfort and safety reside with inaction.
- Get off the bench. According to Gallup, 71% of the work force is disengaged.
- Get in the game. In my book, everyone is called by God to be a starter in their own life. You can’t win if you’re not in the game.
Sound too simple? Why not spend some time and listen to my talk from Sunday morning. It’s streaming or able to be downloaded here. It’s called WE ACT.
So…why don’t you? (ACT that is. If you want to make your mark, it comes with the territory.)
