It's an amazing story of a man of great faith who faced the plague, shipwreck, hunger, etc. trusting in God's providence. There is a beautiful story about the shipwreck where he took the time to minister to some slaves who were kept in terrible conditions in the hull of the ship. The night of the storm before the shipwreck all 400 of them asked for and were given baptism before the ship went down. Praise God.
